Aerosols and
Heterogeneous Chemistry
in the Atmosphere

[AIDA]

Welcome to the AIDA-Server of the Atmospheric Aerosol Research Department, Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research (IMK), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) We are investigating both experimentally and theoretically physical and chemical aerosol processes that contribute to the conversion of reactive trace compounds, new particle formation, cloud microphysics, and aerosol-climate interactions. The head of the Atmospheric Aerosol Research Department, Thomas Leisner, is also professor at the Institute of Environmental Physics, University of Heidelberg.
